I suppose that you play the NTF version with all emergent unlocked the same time. Did you have a problem like this in previous version where only Catalonia was unlocked?
No clue, don't think I played catalonia before.
some problems i've noticed in the emergent files:
campaign set 6 -- venice exists as a faction, but has no land (austria controls venetia)
campaign set 7 -- piedmont-savoy and venice do not exist as factions
campaign set 8 -- same as campaign set 6, venice exists without any land
campaign set 9 -- same as campaign set 6... even when playing -as- venice there still are no lands, no government, no armies, etc.
attached pic of what it looks like when venice is loaded. are you seeing the same issues in these file sets? If not I'll try a complete uninstall and reinstall of the game.

No thats exactly what i ment by venice not working they are a faction but have no land or armies austria as i said own venice. i also pointed out that you get no goverment and have that left over goverment page from ETW featuring a listing of american and indian govenors i guess it a place holder file
I am 113 rounds into a saxony game without flaw crash or corrupt save but currently avoiding any of the emergent game packs due to the venice issue which may be causing this save error and crashes as well they exisist but dont.
That is important infos. I'll check all factions one by one. Emergent seemed to be more stable here than in NTW and I'll try to fix these issues. Btw it is a good chance to add generals. i remember a couple of factions but if you can point soem from your experience it would be even better.
All the emergent factions have it rough beginning with zero units. Greece is the only one that can recruit generals/admirals.

I guess Venice could buy a region. Hmm, trying that now. Just bout Aabo from sweden for 44k and now am sitting on 466k but the Government window says Venice is our capital haha... can't recruit generals/admirals though.
Did not check any of the minor or major factions for bugs like this but I do remember in your older files some of the major factions had ridiculous amounts of money just like Venice does in these.

Ive played as all emergent over 50+ turns, as soon i as try to load any of them (including auto saves AND quick saves) i get CTD, regardless of any emergent.
Thanks. if Venice is with 510000 that means that I forgot to unlock it. The strange think is that in my files it is playable. Anyway you have to buy Venice region from Austria. Tonight I'll upload fixed files.

Can you check if the user.script file has the right command? Also can somebody verify if this happened when I had emergent individual unlocked (only the playable present in the start of campaign)?
The Balkan mod is kinda bugged. The setup (from the first post) doesn't install anything and gives error, and the second one works perfect in battles but nothing in campaign (could you tell me where to put the files, I tried in both eur_nappie and mp_eur nappie

I usually play with Hungary and I would like to make some suggestions to it.

In my game the king name is only: I (?)
Is it possible to add hungarien grenadiers,hussars, fusiliers? It is very annoying that austrian forces attacking me with hun. forces and I have only simple grenadiers.![]()

1. Balkan_loc.pack, Balkan_mod.pack to [NTW]\data folder.
2. user.script in C:\Users\user name\AppData\Roaming\The Creative Assembly\Napoleon\scripts
If you want to play as Ottomans, Hungary or Greece, open folder Greece_Ottomans_Hungary and copy the included folder campaigns in [NTW]\data folder of your game.
If you want to play as Serbia, Croatia, Romania, or Moldavia open folder Moldavia_Serbia_Croatia_Romania and copy the included folder campaigns in [NTW]\data folder of your game.
Start a new coalition campaign. Mod uses its own modfolder and will not overwrite any vanilla files.
Automatic install:
Download installer.

I had a crack at "fixing" this for myself by adding these three units to a small movie pack that just contains a truncated unit_to_exclusive_faction_permissions table, but no dice (setting them to "hungary" and "true" in addition to their current faction affiliations). Is that the right approach? I recall this working in ETW, although I suppose with all the movie packs running around I could just have a mod conflict.
