I completed the battle of Waterloo but the replay is messed up. Like stuff happened in the replay that didn't happen in the battle I played like the Duke of Wellington rushes my all be himself and the Prussians come too soon. Is there a way to fix this????

The replays are never the actual battle you fought. It is more a save of the setup and (potentially) some of the orders issued, but the "replays" will play themselves out differently than the actual battle 100% of the time.

True, it did this exact same thing in Empire:Total War. Rather annoying when you are trying to record a spectacular event. The only workaround I have is to use FRAPS, but you better have a killer computer or it turns into a slideshow.
Don't blame me, I voted for Pedro!

My replays have been working fairly well in NTW. I can't vouch that they're a 100% similar to the original battles, but they certainly jibe well with my memories of those battles.

In ETW, I did occasionally have a replay that went haywire. (For some reason, the first replay I would record after a new patch would never resemble the actual battle, but subsequent replays would work pretty well.) Further, in ETW once in a while the map would be different in the replay than the actual battle and that too would throw the battle out of whack. (For example, a town would be present in the actual battle, but be missing in the replay!?!?) Since NTW is based on ETW's engine then it wouldn't surprise me to see the occasional replay fail to resemble the actual battle. However, if all your replays don't resemble any of your battles then that may be a bug.

In my experience. though, it's been so far so good with NTW's replay feature. I record a lot of battles. The return of the ability to record campaign battles in ETW and now in NTW is probably my favorite feature of both games. The replays really allow one to appreciate all the animations and graphics that one is too busy to pay attention too when actually fighting the battle. I've recorded at least a dozen battles in NTW and all have resembled their actual battles.

Was the same in Medieval 2, not sure about Rome. Had a replay I needed for an AAR back then. In the real battle I won, but in the replay I lost.

I got the same as xxoverlordxx. Played waterloo and looking back at the replay, I see myself doing the same orders but the AI is doing something completely different.
