A demo?

Well I was wondering if there was a demo for Napoleon. I dont want to buy the game with out seeing if its worth it....

No demo yet, no news about a possible one either.

Its well worth it seriously, just read soem of the reviews on this site...

I also wanted to know how it handled would handle with my computer.

I'm not sure if you played ETW, but if your rig can handle that, it can handle NTW.

Eh, demos are usually scripted and don't truly give you an accurate assessment of the game. The reviews on this site are far more insightful and useful.

Personally, I'd say get it. Its soooo much better then Empire, and almost everything I've read has been positive

maybe that's common practice for ca, but i have rarely come across "scripted" demos.

Well list your pc stats, and someone will probably have close to it, and can tell you how it runs...

Could probably run on low with med-large unit sizes.

You could run it fine my stats are similar but i have 3 gigs of ram. I play on medium settings and medium unit size it runs 100% better than empire on these same settings and looks so much better. they optimised this game greatly.

Unless it's a performance question demos are nothing, as others said.

What's the CPU, can you get even a mild 15 ~ 20% overclock on it. If you have a decent motherboard that can let you overclock the cpu and OC your gpu a bit, maybe up your RAM and then that machine can run it pretty good on med/high with shadows and grass on low.

Yes you do, it's usually a very linear scenario such as the opening (and usually hand holding) part of the game.

I still think I need a demo to make sure, for it was a huge mistake to buy Empire. And i dont want to make it again.

It's basically a different game, there is a poll whether you would recommend it, I think it is 35 yes 5 no.

They won't make any demos, they prefers lying video ! If you want to test the game, download it from a pirate site, try it and buy it if u still playing 2 weeks later
