Right i downloaded the first part of 6.1 and opened it with winsip it contain an internet file stainless steel and another file i attempted to extract the stainless steel file. it said it containned a potentially unsafe file but i clicked continue. it then said the file path did not exist which is rubbish and i had not sent it to there anyway and then it stop so i tried again and it said the files did not exist at which point they dissapeared from winzip any suggestions?

Sounds like your download is corrupted. Try downloading it again and try turning off your anti-virus/anti-spyware software when you install it

Last time my SS6.2 crapped out it took me a whole day to get it back up running. But it was worth it... So the lesson being...

Strive to up grade one's rig, and don't be a computer dummy like me...

Right i tried to redownload it {im mainly doing this for botb] as i was using the beta before it said it again im trying the other mirror which is .exe so it shud work bttr

If you use the .exe mirrors it works but the .zip is corrupted for me anyway

Glad to hear that your issue is solved - if you keep having this problem with other huge zip/rar files it might help to use the repair function of winrar. Its also a indicator of memory errors & connection problems.
