I like it, adds humor to the game and lets you notice if you get misfires...lol

The post implies that if its raining, you probably wouldn't see all the dust kicked up by an advancing army.

Let's think the unthinkable, let's do the undoable. Let us prepare to grapple with the ineffable itself, and see if we may not eff it after all.
It's quite strange to hear this when playing with the Prussians. Looks like they have an English meteorologist employed![]()

I like comments like that.
I have heard someone saying 'Why are they shooting at us Sarge?' before.
Yeah it's like they went with the Blizzard route in making their units more independent.
The soldiers in the Regiment react more to the environment and they will cry and scream when shot or thrown aside. And of course comments like those. In the heat of battle though it's hard to hear it but it's there.
"Sarge I'm scared! We all are son." "Sir! Sir! Can we fire now?" "RALLY TO THE FLAG!" "STEADY....STEADYYYY..." "STAND YOUR GROUND!" "Hey sarge isn't this dangerous? "Keep you heads down you idiots" "HELP ME MOTHER!" " "I will cut down any man who runs!" "I will kill every single one of them!" etc the new unit chatter is awesome lol When units waver they say something too, like rallying calls.

My favorite is "they missed. You can stop crying now you nancy!"
I always keep hearing German-speakers saying something like, "Bunta Knocken!", whatever that means.

I think they make the voices that have an impact on the game itself universal to the region to insure the player can actually understand what it is trying to tell them.I am just glad the ambient voices are native for all factions,as far as definite weather effects, during a battle in the pouring rain i saw tons of misfires all across my lines, with literally 7 or 8 shots going off the rest looking dumbfounded at their firelocks.as well during this battle my cavalry was cut down charging the opposing batteries due to their charge speed lowering to a crawl!!damn the rain and damn my cav heavy division on that black day...in the words of Napoleon the only enemy I fear is nature....
I thought it was pretty funny when a single unit of British line infantry attacked my full French stack with a stack of reinforcements. As the reinforcing army hadn't arrived yet it was that one unit facing my entire army and when I brought the camera over the unit I heard one of the soldiers say " Are we going to die Sarge? ".
The say all of this French gibberish, and suddenly, "Damn this weather sir! Blimey, it'll get all over me bloody top hat! Care for some tea and biscuits, laddie?" and then back to "Vive la revolution!"
