Default I can't extract files to Medieval II folder

I'm trying to download RR/RC compilation, but when I try to extract the zip to the folder using winrar it says stuff like this:

    ! C:\Users\user1\AppData\Local\Temp\SS_RR_RC_Part2.7z: Cannot open mods\Stainless_Steel_6\Data\unit_models\cumans\textures\cum_militia_n.texture
    ! C:\Users\user1\AppData\Local\Temp\SS_RR_RC_Part2.7z: Cannot open mods\Stainless_Steel_6\Data\unit_models\cumans\textures\cum_wild.texture
    ! C:\Users\user1\AppData\Local\Temp\SS_RR_RC_Part2.7z: Cannot open mods\Stainless_Steel_6\Data\unit_models\cumans\textures\cum_wild_n.texture
    ! C:\Users\user1\AppData\Local\Temp\SS_RR_RC_Part2.7z: Cannot open mods\Stainless_Steel_6\Data\unit_models\cumans\textures\cum_woman.texture
    ! C:\Users\user1\AppData\Local\Temp\SS_RR_RC_Part2.7z: Cannot open mods\Stainless_Steel_6

This happened when I tried to download SS too, but I just used a different link that wasn't a zip. What is going on? I have Windows 7 BTW

What is UAC and how do I turn it off?

    I'm not too computer savvy

EDIT: Ok I turned it off and restarted but when I opened winrar up again the RR/RC files don't seem to be there. WTF?

Most likely because when you downloaded it, you opened it, rather than saving it to the harddisk? Atleast the \temp\ part of your first post suggest so.
Also, in case you ever reinstall in the future, I'd suggest creating a "Games" folder or so to install it to. Installing to the standard Program Files folder, is generally a bad idea when you plan to change certain files afterwards, since this the Program Files, is more secure than other folders.

Nope. All are wrong. It's winrar. Winrar can't handle 7zip so far (I think) so downloading 7zip might be the best option. Google it, I'm sure it will show up somewhere. If you can't find it, I'm pretty sure there was a link in the RR/RC thread.

Yeah I turned UAC off and it let me extract part 1 so it seems to be working. I'm downloading part 2 right now but I'm only getting 100-200 kbps, when earlier I was getting 800kbps

Please post all questions/issues with RR/RC in the RR/RC subforum. It's there for a reason you know

The problem wasn't exclusive to RR/RC, but turning off UAC worked, thanks!
