You REALLY should allow cheats in this mod

I'm no cheater, but this mod, at least for me, bugs out way too much. I have all the patches and updates and whatnot, but i get random errors at bad times, or the game just freezes.

Like right now. I had a 1200 vs 7000 man battle that I won, took quite a long time, and just near the end when i was moments away from victory, the game ing freezes. And there is just no way to make it work again. All that work for nothing. I saved right before the battle so i just want to reload the battle and autowin cheat it, because I really don't want to redo that whole battle. But since cheats don't work, i lost an hour or two of progress. I really don't feel like doing the entire battle again, so right now i don't want to continue with my campaign at all.

Otherwise it's a terrific mod and it's great fun, but in these kinds of situations it really would be great to be able to autowin a battle... I mean I already won the battle, i don't want to completely ing redo it!

yeah i know, but whenever i bring up the cheat mode, the game resets to my last autosave

so i thought this meant cheats were disabled

am i wrong, then?

Yes.

Perhaps you have corrupted files or sth. Try reinstalling the game. Oh, and you could post your log file so someone could see what is wrong.

hmm... maybe it's because i'm on a swedish keyboard, since the tilde key i'm supposed to press is not in the same place as on american keyboards, so maybe i'm just pressing the wrong button.

ah, i found it. it was my "ö" key which is far away from any tilde key.

Sorry for ranting like that in my opening post, i was just really aggravated after having spent so much time and it just disappeared.

Yup. Same on a German keyboard. When in doubt, just try random keys until your PC explodes.

Or press F1, if you found it before your PC exploded. Lists usefull combinations like "Ctrl + L", etc, etc.

Be warned though, I believe activating the cheat window lowers your income.

Should be obvious by now to everyone that cheats have not be tempered with.
