I Welcome on TWC
I Have win 7 64 bit , I have 12 gb ram but i use only 4 gb at max , and it run pefectly![]()
Win 7 64bit. It gets away from large area address problems and uses all the ram you can throw at it. Lord Willy is right, 4 gigs is about tops until the next generation of games that are 64 bit native.
Use 64bit version since a 32bit version is limited to only using 3 gigs of ram for aplications. NTW just like Empire is a 32 bit application however it has been flagged to use more then 3 gigs of memory if you're operating system and specs can support it.
Also I've been running the game with no problems on Windows7 64bit edition 15+ hours and no crash.
Excellent....thank's all for your help....hummm....doe's that's mean Empire will work on win7 64bit ???? Could anyone please advice me again.
64 bit, the only problem I ever ran into with 64 bit was having to run some archaic Qbasic for a programming class.
yes it works, I'm using it now.
"...I'll look for something else. We're surrounded by water. Why are we eating knob?"
Qbasic archaic? go on back to its parent, Basic. Tried proramming it a little.
