    in napoleon tw can u fire by rank or platoon?
    i have only see that the first rank fires like in empire tw early period.
    i have seen in one vid that the frirst and second rank fired simultaneously, can u that?

    There is neither fire by rank, nor platoon fire in NTW. There is a fire and advance drill that is different from either of those.

    Yep, no platoon and no fire by rank, but having played a bit its no biggie, at least for me. Fire and advance is nice because ur regiment advances and fires by rank.

    The guards (at least the Prussian ones) do get platoon. You do not need to research it.

    The ranks move up and fire and then after all ranks have fired they move back to the original position. It's so en stupid.

    i saw some vids about fire and advance, its stupid, after all lines fire the go back, and they are shot in the back, i was expecting 2 ranks fire simultaneosly, or some new fire drils, i really dont like this aspect, hope they will do something about it with the patches, or ill be very disapointed.
