How to make British Chariot General's Bodyguard to be upgradable?

There are only two factions in Vanilla who have chariot generals, the Egypt and the Britons. And the Egyptian Chariot Generals could be upgraded to Egyptian Cavalry Generals, but it is not possible for the Britons to upgrade their generals. Actually, generals in chariot is so weak that I've lost 5 generals in 7 battles...

So I added Graal Knights from BI into vanilla, and made it a new general unit, and also with the attribute "general_unit_upgrade". But the problem is, that I cannot upgrade my chariot general's bodyguard to graal knights. Is there any script errors or anything irregular just can lead to mistakes? Thanks for your help, guys~

Make sure that the Graal Knights come after the original guard and that there is a line in EDU that says "upgrade_general requires marian_reforms" or something like that. It will be very near the top in the core_building.

Thank you, Caesar. I've got the message in your reply, and I've also found what the problem is. I put the Graal Knights just in the very end of EDU, and so this problem occured. Thanks for your telling me. :-)
