Ah sorry, you're right. I uploaded the wrong one, forgot to delete it. Uploading the correct one now. Expext a link in about an hour or so.

Great, that one worked. U can learn quite a bit from it even thogh it crashes about halfway.

Outstanding tutorial.
Always wanted to try stuff like this but all the other tutorials have pretty much always been jumpy and been hard to follow but here it is easy.

Alin wrote a tutorial on the skin modifier here , which explains how to weigh the vertices correctly. To link a shield or a weapon ( or any object which vertices need to be weighed to only 1 bone for that matter ), you should use the 'Select&Link' modifier, located in the top left of your window, next to 'Redo'. Just select the object you want to link, click on it and drag the mouse to the correct bone ( bone_Rhand for weapons or bone_Lhand for shields ).

by the gods, playing around with boxes is frustrating as hell.
But making helmets is very fun tho and easy.
