Decided to share a fun formation I developed to optimize the use of bomb ketches (in responsible numbers).


Tactic revolves around 2 groups and 3 sub groups.

Group 1 (The "T")
-6 or more 3rd rates including an admiral in line astern.
-4 or more bomb ketches in line abreast at the head of the 3rd rate line forming a "T".

Use:
-once bomb ketches are within range they stop and fire while the 3rd rates sail through the gap in the line abreast.

Group 2 (Chasers)
-any slots left should make up this group.
-6th rates or steamships are best for this

Use:
-Chasing down routing enemy ships and disrupting the enemy formation.
