    Default Offends the Nobility

Hey I've been playing as England and my new king has the offends the nobility trait. How do I make my generals loyal again, I have about 7 of my best governors and generals with the disobeys the liege trait. How do I get rid of this, I get a popup telling me to take them to the capital, I did that and I built dungeons and the execution block, nothing happens. Can someone please help, It is an awesome mod but this is the worst feature because it doesn't work.

The fastest way to get rid of this trait from your king is to give him some "legendary swords". They all give some authority bonus for the owner. I've just had the same problem in my Danmark campaign. My young king have this trait and after I gave him two swords (from Breslau and Lubeck) all my generals maxed their loyalty.
I don't ask if your king has the crown of England because I assume that you know DLV basics, right?

Yeah he has the crown of England, he couldn't get it because when the old king died, he was in wales so it took me a couple of turns to get him to London. What I did was take all the disobedient generals and I put them in a castle and then I left my king inside London until he lost the trait. Then the family members still had the trait, however I could still use them and their loyalty is slowly going up. Thanks for the reply but I don't know how to get swords . Some of my family members have them, I think its from battles or lineage.

If your king is in the capital and you have build a dungeon or better there you can then move a general with the disloyal trait trait to the capitol (one at a time), after he ends his turn in the capitol a popup message pops up that explains what to do. (select him from the army scroll, then decide if to forgive him or throw him in the dungeon)

As it is a very time consuming method to gain back the loyalty of your nobles it's best used only for the few generals where it really counts.

They get those swords just for staying in some settlements.

I did that, London has a dungeon and I put the king in there and one disloyal general, the message pops up and when I click on him him the list scroll nothing happens. The retire general script works fine but this one doesn't. Thanks for the help though

Does the general have to have a certain level of loyalty for the script to activate, maybe?

From having a quick glance at the script, it doesn't. It would take me a while to troubleshoot the error as I don't have much experience modding medieval 2.
