P.S. does anyone have a list what minor factions are in napoleon? is there knights of st.john or georgia still there?
Georgia isnt even on the NTW map. They cut it off. All there is of Georgia is a bit of coast with a trade node.

Seems I'll need a new nation to play as without Knights of St John.

I can make Sweden Playable in the Campaigns of The Coalition (I did it a couple of hours ago with Portugal) but it takes away one of the 4 original playables.

I've done it in single player as well (It's a very simple process) But as mentioned before it will take away an existing playable faction , but it's easy to make them playable again.

    Default Area of Recruitment mod

Seeing as CA went to the trouble to represent even the minor factions as accurately as they could(and an excellent job overall they did by the way)it is only fitting that there be an area of recruitment mod available that allows for us to recruit units not only from conquered nations but a limited pool from protectorates.I know there was something similar to this idea done in Empire but I wonder if the same might be accomplished in Napoleon.

Hehe. A funy thought to play with, however the melee fights isn't as brutal as they were in the medieval ages, remember this. These are gentlemen after all xD but I do think that it should be obvious even for CA to add blood. A game of this type... without blood... just plain wrong.

I agree, I'd like to "train" troops from the Italian Kingdom or Bavaria and put them in my army, I like their uniforms.

Lol, yeah i know its not the same as middle age combat, but I imagine you would get "some red one you" when standing next to some unlucky man.

increase in range and decrease in reload and accuracy.

    increase in unit sizes.
"we're way way pre-alpha and what that means is there is loads of features not just in terms of the graphics but also in terms of the combat and animations that actually aren't in the game yet.So the final game is actually gonna look way way better than this!” - James Russell, CA
Just like the elephant animation, this Carthage scenario is actually in the game, it just has a small percantage factor for showing up, that's all...

I'd like a mod to remove those unrealistic muzzle flashes from musket fire.

Yeah, because the entire British empire and France is on the map too.
