Default What's up with the 'battle_description' file

    Hello everyone,

I've been exploring the Rome - Total War directory alot recently and have come across a file called 'battle_description'. It seems to contain the pre-battle introductions for the Historical Battles.

The only thing is, most of the battles it describes don't show up in the game. For example, Arausio, Jurgurthia, Pharsalus, etc. So what is the point of this file?

    Thanks alot,
    JollySam

Just an educated guess but, it might be some legacy code left over during the game creation. There's all sorts of stuff in the code that doesn't work or doesn't exist in the actual game.

Also bear in mind there are plenty of duplicate descriptions in the file as well.
