Replenishing ship cannons

How do I do this? I captured a ship that had like 12/60 cannons and put it into a port of mine to repair. The ship got repaired but the cannons are not replenished. What am I doing wrong?

might be a glitch, when you hit the repair button the ship should be fully repaired by the next turn, to include crew and guns.

Nothing else you can do. The ship should be fully repaired.
