Hi i'm playing as the Templars, and i'm simply not getting any marriage offers for my two generals and they're getting old.
Is this normal or is there something im missing?

They're monks. They dont get married![]()
They work much the same as the Teutonic Order I think, in that you'll just have a new Grandmaster appointed when you're current one dies. As long as you have generals I think you're ok.
Dyslexia for cure found!!
Haha so i need to recruit *general's bodyguards*? That kinda thing. Because i'm down to two generals, and that's it. I'll try that out. Thanks gents.
That's one way.
"Man of the Hour" and Adoption are more traditional.
Which version are you playing? How early into the campaign are you (ie how many territories)? The game maintains a close ratio of generals:settlements, so if you only got two generals and two cities, you won't get offered more generals
I'm currently playing through a 6.2 Templar game, and I've gotten plenty of marriage offers.
One option is that you can try sending some units in some battles to try to trigger the Man of the Hour.
i ended up having 6-7 settlements before i got a marriage offer in turn 130. Yep slow game, very difficult, which is why i'm enjoying it so much.
I didn't want to take adoptions or men of the hour. I wanted to keep my *family* *pure* etc.
The king never married and i managed got a couple generals and they got proposals eventually.
Thanks for the suggestions.

Try using your diplomats to charm foreign princesses into your family.
Except, when you spell out a word like 'morons', you look a bit funny when you get it wrong. Especially when it's your permanent signature.
For evidence of the above:
