Cant Use AA on Nvidea 260

I am running a laptop using Nvidia GTX 260m, With 1 gb dedicated video memory, 4gb Ram, And a dual core Processor. I have narrowed it down to being the AA. Every time I try to turn it on, the game has a bunch of graphical errors and will not load back the menu screen. Please, for the love of Zeus, Help me.

OS is windows 7, and It is an asus laptop. I have tried defragmentation and i have verified the game cache. This is my 5th TIME installing the game.

I have an Asus laptop myself. Geforce GT 130M card, Windows 7. Are the graphical errors stuff like a pure red screen upon loadup with the menu music playing and everything, snowy screen, the game minimizes to desktop for a few seconds then returns to fullscreen, and you get a message saying a graphics kernel stopped responding or something to that effect? Cause I'm getting similar problems.

have you tried tweaking with whatever program Nvidia have? Since in the ATI case, this could be solved by letting the game administrate those things. The possible explanation to this is a conflict in the management of the AA and other effects, causing the lag, or the flickering issues.

May not be able to use AA. The best luck so far has been to turn it to application active in the respective control panels and adjust it ingame.

Fixed it! Try installing the latest drivers directly from Nvidia. http://www.nvidia.com/Download/index.aspx?lang=en-us

I just got done checking the Nvidia control center and basically, It was already set to application active, so yeah.

I checked, all my drivers are up to date. Could you send me a link for the troubleshoot none the less?

I also tried over ride application, when I do this it wont even load to the menu before the graphics go nuts.

None of them work. I checked the Yuku forums and many people have been having the same problem with the same card. The moderators consider "turning off AA" a "solution." Pardon me, but I would like to be able to use AA. It seems no matter what I do, Napolean will have none of it....

I am sick, and the site of two cakes did not comfort me.

For whatever it's worth, does the flawed computer happen to be an Asus G51VX? It sounds like you've got the same components as me...and so far mine is working perfectly. I'll dig deeper if need be, but I'm generally lazy.

i have GTX 260(not mobile) and AA works fine, no idea what the differences is are though between the two
