    Default Patch and more content?

    Whilst we wait for the new patch for Empire, and till then I refuse to play Napoleon even though I have it beside me right now, I was wondering what can we actually expect from it.

    I hope better AI, but (I'll get shot for this) perhaps more DLC? At 2 euros its fine for me, but I have this obsession with having "original" units from the creators rather than modded unless it is a huge mod (something like EB or Stainless Steel).

    Patch info?
    More DLC soon?
    More stuff for Empire?

    Don't abandon it. I still like the era more than Napoleon.

    Hi there.
    I could not agree more with you. The upcomming patch seems to promise a better future for Empire, but I too find it too little (but not too late). Some factions like, and I am not naiming all of them, Poland, Sweden and Austria and France needs some attention. France mainly because of their lack of late artillery (http://www.twcenter.net/forums/showthread.php?t=332417 #1). Austria because they lack 125 range units. Sweden and Poland has just been forgotten in the rush, since they are not "eastern nations".
    And future patches routing out the bugs in game and improving the poor AI in general would not be bad either.
    And I too wants original units instead of mods.

    Yes Poland and Sweden were certainly forgotten. However I'm playing the latest darthmod ultimate commander version as Sweden at the moment (5.4 +update) and easy to install now. The Swerdes have many more units here when you have a drill school.
    I really don't understand why people complain about vanilla ETW without trying the mods which improve the game so much that I've not even bothered with NTW until I see a decent mod has been made for it.
