Is anybody playing this on a GTX280?

This isn't a request for tech help.

I just want to know how NTW is running on that card, as mine will be here shortly with my new Q9400 and will be replacing my 8800gt's in SLI. I'd like to hear peoples FPS on max settings etc.

well im running smooth as anything on a 2gb geforce GTS 250, almost everything maxed out.

I can't even find a 2gb gts 250 to compare performance. I almost don't wanna play NTW till my new components come.

250 you should be fine. What res do you play at?

Im using a GTX260 black edition by XFX on 1680 x 1050 with all setting on ultra and max unit sizes and its running as smooth as possible (sorry i dont know how to monitor FPS in game)

Mine is a gtx280, I play @ 1920 X 1200.

oh hell, i owned a gtx280 your fine. sorry got confused about the talk of the 250.

Heck the 280 is still a very fast card. I played empire @ 1080p with it till it blew up and got my a ATI 5870. But thats mute, i played with everything maxxed no issues in ETW. What does that tell you? NTW will handle it without any problems

Heck people with 9800gt/8800gt are running it maxed with no issues. And the 280 is alot fast then them.

No need, If it runs great on a 260 maxed, the 280 should work great with a higher resolution.

My 8800gt is running this game with everything maxed out. No hangups and everything looks great. A GTX280 is more then enough to run this game flawlessly.

I'm using the 8800gt, SLI won't work and it is hardly great if your actually measuring the fps. 34FPS zoomed out, 18 zoomed in static without firing or anything. 1920x1200 resolution.
