Been viewing a lot of posts here.....I must say I am surprised by all the reactions so far! I'm still bit skeptical and i'm gonna wait a bit longer before I go buy this game. At least a month (if I not growing impatient). I never complained much about E:TW though, I find it a great game especially with the mod APE:TI. The reason why I dont buy N:TW is because I feel this is just bit more of the same all over. But reading your reviews and all the good news about it makes me see that this game is more then that.
I was wondering about the ships in E:TW. Are there any new ones?
And is there any kind of improvement in navy battles?

As far as naval improvements go, the ships are more detailed, the react physically to broadsides, and sink very slooooooooowly.

Pretty much all the same ships as in ETW. With a few newer types added that you can get later. Like bigger steam ships, and an Iron Clad... But not the iron clad your thinking of. Its just a large steam ship with 40 caronades on it.
Most of the ships are reneamed though. Now they call them 74 Gun Ships etc. Sometimes you will see names like 55 Gun 3rd rate though. They really mixed up the ships this time.
