Two black dudes were walking home or to a car or something after the school day was over, and I overheard one of them saying this.

Reminds me of in college when one of my black classmates told me that I needed to admit to her that white people were still racist, and that I needed to apologize for slavery. Yep we sure had some good black slavery plantations in freaking Romania during the Ottoman invasions...

We (my people) also had some great tobacco plantations in Lebanon and France.
I think that there are some black people who use the issue of their ancestors (possibly*) being slaves as an excuse to hate whites, simply because things are not going so well in their lives.
*Just because somebody is African American doesn't mean that their ancestors are slaves; in fact, if I were black, I would take offense to that assumption.

What if it were two white people saying "man, black people are so racist"? What if two white people were saying "man, white people are so racist"?
I hardly think that there's anything to be learned from one comment overheard without any context. Maybe they were joking. Maybe they'd just been accosted by a gang of neo-nazis. Maybe they were racist. There's not really any way of telling.
I wonder how long it'll take for this thread to become a dumping ground for people to complain about how white people are second-class citizens these days.

No one gave a flip about lynching when it could be kept out of sight and out of mind. It only became an issue when Civil Rights groups started putting images in venues where people could see them, causing outrage. Blacks today do indeed commit atrocities against Whites just as bad as Whites used to commit against them, with two significant differences. First, it is done by individuals to individuals, whereas lynching was a public spectacle that the whole community frequently participated in. Second, the media deliberately buries stories of more brutal Black on White crimes, whereas it once and still does do the opposite for Black on White crimes. Whether the media does this out of bizarre malice towards the White middle class or an equally bizarre sense of noblesse oblige towards Blacks is an interesting question to consider.
The point is that moral outrage is laughably easy to twist, control, and manipulate by those who control the images people see every day.

I don't know what that means.
There are offensive comments, intended to insult, and there are critical comments, everyone has to learn the difference. PC is a conservative term to demonise politeness and those that take "politeness" to an extreme.
