I kind of forgot which it applied to.

It currently only applies to single player. I do believe however that they are planning on expanding it to multiplayer.

    Singleplayer

I spent too much time on 4chan, but that's great news if it's the case. I can actually imagine how it'll work after seeing how the files are structured & the units ingame. If you actually zoom in and cause the headwear to clip, almost all the units I've seen have a 'bald' head beneath. Because of this, rather than a head which ends at the brow and is hollow/empty inside, I think we'll actually see an ability to mix and match body parts - Prussians with Bicornes, or Grenzers with older fashioned balkan/Ottoman headwear.

It is indeed great news. (Love the picture btw )

I mean I liked the idea of "personalized" multiplayer armies that was thrown around when the Unit Editor was first announced, but I am, and always will be, a single-player enthusiast, so I was equally excited upon hearing it was a single-player feature.

Thanks for commenting about the technical aspects! It's good to hear that the level of customization may be extended a further layer, in that heads and hats might actually be two separate parts!
