How I came to Hate Amazon-NTW Related

I cancled my order. Ordered yesterday off of gamestop. Said it ships in 24hrs, blah been 30hrs+ still no tracking info. So i bought it off of steam played it all day today, ill keep the other copy (whenever it finally gets here) or give to a friend .

Must....Punch....Something....Amazon related

Ok i preordered MAss effect 2 a week before release. Got free release day shipping, got it on the day it was released.

Same here. Over on the .com message boards Kieran was saying something about there being a mess up with the distribution to retailers and (and likely rightly) absolved CA of any fault. According to another unsubstantiated third hand source Sega said that the game was not a "street date release" but instead was a "ship date release". Whatever any of that means, my copy went out on a truck at 2:30 and will probably be failed to deliver sometime while my wife and I are both at work tomorrow afternoon. I'll see what good I can do installing the little UPS failed to deliver slip in my hard drive. I'm not sure what good gaming I'll get out of it, but it'll probably have better AI than ETW.

I'm telling you... go to www.amazon.com, and then just go to town on your computer monitor. It will make you feel soooooooooooooooooooooooooo good

I happen to like my monitor though I think I will go to their website and send countless numbers of complaints.

Not sure its amazon, im still waiting for my order to ship via gamestop.

And ive looked every where locally and no one has it.

Some one has dropped the ball with this release.


I gave up and bought it off of steam this morning.

Mine was dispatched two days ago through Royal Mail. If I'm lucky, it'll be here by tommorrow, if not, friday, as I'd expect

My preorder is also with Amazon yet I feel no urge to play the game out of the box without others trying it out first for bugs

I've played about 5 hours of the Napoleon Campaign of europe, and I can tell you i have found maybe 2 minor graphical bugs, and that's it. One of them is that while some men are running they look like you have choppy framerates and are skipping ahead instead of fluid running. (it does not affect gameplay at all)

Atleast you guys can buy it off amazon.com. Here Amazon.ca isn`t even selling the game. But they are fast at shipping other games, I got my copy of mass effect 2 the following day, which amazed me.

Maybe I would be priority if I were in India though!
