Its fine but too tall. Please fix the height.
Okay It may be an obvious answer but how do i make my image shorter while still keeping the correct proportions. I can make the signature smaller or i can reduce the hight but then it looks out of proportion is there a way to just remove part of the signature.

You could have followed the instructions in the beginning of the lesson.
The right image size is very important. Noobs tend to make their sig as big as possible, but smaller sigs can achieve a far better effect for the most time. I usually use a size around 430x140, with a transparent background.

In the lesson 4, I can't find "Animation" in Window menu. My Photoshop is "Adobe Photoshop 7.0", is not the correct version?

You should then have a program that comes with photoshop, wich name escapes me, that is the animation program. This program has been included in later versions of PS.

If I am not wrong, to turn off a layer you have to make it invisible and deselect it:
    ON:

    OFF:

Im having trouble finding the black -white adjustment layer . I ve checked the internet,it says that if you dont have b-w you should try channel mixer ,what i do have .
After selecting this, i can only change to gray when i check the monochrome box . But no b-w .

Go "Layer - New Adjustment Layer - Black and White". Press OK on the popup.
If you read it, it will come to you.

Apparently, a black and white adjustment layer is not available in the CS2 version and older. Instead, choose "hue/saturation" and set saturation to -100. It is the same effect.
