    It would be a good idea to remove the text Mr B. Either crop it out or heal it.

    Original not shown. But if you look at your render and specifically what I pointed out in my last post about 3 posts up. You did exactly what I warned against. look at your edges you have a significant amount of residual image left.

    You missed two spots, one on the gun (where the fingers are) and the other one between the arm and shoulder (a little triangle)

    It seems that he has a problem with uploading the picture as well, he saved it as a PNG file but it still gives a white background when he posted the picture.

    Good job, altough it seems you have been working on a locked background layer, cause the finished product isn't transparent.To fix it copy the locked layer (CTRL+J) and hide the background layer and do the pentool method on layer 1.
    Example
    Sorry for not being clear.

    What if he selects the figure with his pen tool and hits make selection, if he presses ctrl + c and opens up a new layer with transparent selected and copies it in this new layer (by using ctrl + v) will it still use the white background?

    That would work and it would be cropped the best way possible.

    There are a couple spots that I may redo but I have to go get the kids from School and buy rotors and pads.

    @Legio

    Legio, just make a selection of the whole, cut it and open a new window (ctrl n) in ps.
    Select 'transparent' as background and 8bit color dept.
    Then press ctrl+v to past your cut out picture. Select the magic tool and select the white background with 25%. cut it. then take care of the marked sections above with the pen method. That should work, I hope.
    After all, just suggestions

    The easy way to unlock the background is to just double click the layer (tumbnail).
