Just wondering, has anyone already spotted an imperial eagle or scottish bagpipe in a battle?
Screenshots please, I gotta wait a few days before I can have a look myself!

I don't know if eagles are actually in-game, but if they are, they're only asthetic, no actual use at all
As for Bagpipes, I think we're stuck with flutes for the moment (Not that that's a bad thing, mind) -

Actually I don't think he ever did, he said something like 'rest assured, you'll hear pipers' - but stopped short of specifying that they wouldn't be bagpipers! Originally Posted by calicheSCOT

Maybe you have to have some highlanders in your army? I dont know ive only played prussia at this point.

Na no pipes with any scottish units ie Highland foot and The Black Watch from what i can see in custom battle ,They have a drum and they speak with an english accent ,One speaks while walking "Sarge are we going to die " in a broad english accent

So...no eagles and bagpipes...that's a minor bummer. Looking at all the treats from the lucky Americans allready able to play I quess there's enough eye-candy in to make good for it
I'm afraid it will be some time before I can play the game myself, pre-ordered with Amazon UK, no clue as to when they'll dispatch it

Ive seen the eagle but not in a battle... it was a quest marker telling you where to move your army.
Is that the eagle you guys are talking about? -

Thats odd even RTW had sort of an Eagle above the 1st legionary cohort units as losing one to the Romans was such a big thing, as the same was like with the French especially if a regiment lost an imperial eagle to the enemy.
The last game that had bagpipes was the cossacks series lol can't forget that
Well i hope they can be modded into the game with the right modding tools!!
