    Will I still be able to play vanilla with this installed?

    Absolutely, SS is mod foldered, so you will be able to play vanilla. However once you have savoured SS, you won't want to play vanilla again.

    Welcome to SS, I would strongly recommend you read FAQ in Bugs section by Rozanov, before you start a campaign

    Lol yeah, I've heard that SS is much better. But I want to be able to play some online battles too
    Also I have Third Age Total War, so I don't want to threaten that mod at all by changing the game files.

    SS is installed in a seperate folder, just like Third Age. No conflicts at all.
