Hello JFC! As you know Napoleon is a new game with new features and things. I am very interested in Napoleon flags. Is it possible to make different flags to units in Napoleon armee?

One question / suggestion: I am quite sure Greece's original state flag did not have St. George in the middle, and that the blue was a darker shade. The Army flag also did not contain anything in the center, but once the monarchy was officially established in 1832, Otto I added the royal crest to the center of the Army and I believe Navy flags. St. George didn't end up in the military flag officially until the 1860s.

The current version is packed as movie instead of mod (probably unintentional). If you change the pack type to mod using packfilemanager, it will work with the script. There is no sound in the menu because the the line in the script for NTF technically is declaring a mod type pack which doesn't exist, which halts all pack loading (media.pack doesn't get loaded). That was my take anyway.

It should also work without the script if you leave it as type movie.

The floating flags over the units can be turned on/off in optopns. I can't get the reinforcement flags to turn off which is annoying for screenshots.I had a sound problem once but I found a fix for it somewhere,sorry can't find it now.


The red ensign was prefered on British warships at this time and pictures of HMS Victory at Trafalgar show the red version.

Preferred Flag? At the time the Ensigns of the Royal Navy still had separate squadrons. So preference had nothing to do with it... you flew the flag of your squadron. HMS Victory never flew the Red Ensign at Trafalgar but instead the white. So don't know where you got that info from.

No idea about the re-enforcement flags? no -idea.

I've seen Victory with the red flag but I just checked various pictures online and most show the white ensign. Sorry, you're right.
