Okay chaps and chapesses, this is going to take some time as I don't actually have NTW to experiment and test for now. Here's the plan... I shall leave the current version up and running despite the problems. The only way around this (until I get NTW) is that someone extracts the ui/flags and sends me the file with all of the flags (unless someone else does the mod). It's like urinating in the wind at the moment!
Sorry for the hassle!
gone give you flags its uploading now

By the way, are you thinking of doing alternate in-battle flags? Like this design style for the French: http://img36.imageshack.us/img36/3381/nap5.jpg ?
i still get the problem with the black blocks on flags with the armies of at least russia and the ottomans. only tested them in a skirmish battle. any new ideas?

The only problem with this mod, is that for France, if you use the 1812 model with Napoleonic decorations, That will also appear in the Italian, and Egyptian campaign, as well as early historical battles like Lodi. WHich will look really off key to see Imperial flags during the Republic! Too bad NTW doesn't have an early and late stage.
Formally known as 'Marshal Beale' - The Creator the Napoleon TW mods - 'Napoleon Order of War' and 'Revolution Order of War'
I used the patch pack version and see all the different flags except for France they still have the same flag?
ugh sometimes i hate living in canadai cant wait to download this mod!! +rep
Great work! Keep upp the good work!
BTW When will the Ottoman flags be aviable? For more info about ottoman flags --> http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ottoman_flag
Added a larger 'Mod' pack on the first page with some new flags. If it's anything like ETW, you will need to add mod ntf.pack; to your script file.
i still got the black blocks with the older pack. will this fix it?

I am getting low resolution flags - to fuzzy to go with the otherwise sharp graphics. Also, I use SSAO I get the black problems metioned above.
Send screenshot.
Hi doesn't have Napoleon Total War.
I want to help him but i am busy with the coalition campaign
I think I'm going to have to wait for my own copy of NTW before I can properly fix these issues.
I have an idea that the problem is arising over the transparencies I have used for the square flags. I think CA have introduced a new feature where the flags can get 'battle torn'. This feature would use it's own transparency, thus conflicting with mine. If I am right, then I have a problem where I will be unable to use square flags and have to go back to the ETF way of making versions of rectangle flags. For some, it works and for others it doesn't. This might be how the graphics have been set.
Each faction is now using a DDS and TGA flag, whereas in ETW it was just a TGA. Without having the game, I don't know what flag is actually being used on the battlefield.
I have absolutely no idea why the flags are looking blurry and I would need a screen shot.
If someone from CA would be kind enough to shed some light on this, or even PM me with what each flag does, then great but until then, sorry about the wait TWC!
I'm pretty sure it's the .dds flag being used, because I brought over my own flags from ETW and large.tga did not show up in battle at all: I had the standard tricolor.
I can tinker with the .dds and see if I discover anything, too, I suppose.
