What's with the Swedish flag???
It looked like this 1600-1815:

That's the Swedish army and navy sign, it was NEVER used as a company battle flag, at least not in the Napoleonic era

I am getting the french vanilla flag and the others are like the above poster,they are rendered correctly but they only take up about half of the actual banner

Looks like a problem with alpha-layers (I think that's what it's called?) That black part is supposed to be invisible.

There is only one reason for the French Flag looking vanilla...
The file for the flag is under 'france'
Someone will have to let me know what the faction is actually called under data/ui/flags... ie france_empire. Again, I don't have NTW yet, so I am doing this blind... thanks to you all for helping me!

The flags will be smaller as they are in fact half the size...

Sweden's flag is correct for the period. That's what's with it, so check your facts prior to unleashing the question mark. My facts start with the Battle of Leipzig, October 1813.
2 Divisions, The Skjoldebrand and Sanders, aided the Austria-Russian army against the French. The 'Liffana' is correct.

I can confirm that I also have the problem with the black flags. Looking forward to a fix, the flags look great.

I. The correct text file for mod packs is user.script.txt, in the scripts folder. I've made my own mod packs, and they work 100%.

II. As noted above, the directory for France is france_republic. It's easy enough to use PFM to rename the directory, though.

Yup Confirmed just change the ui flag name from france to france_republic and you get this!!

i am fixed too. If you want to do this manually just download pack manager 1-11 copy into a new folder and put your NTF.pack in the same folder, then drag your NTF.pack file into packfilemanger. After thats done go to UI, flags and rename the france file to france_republic. Save it and overwrite your old NTF.pack file in your data folder.

Don't forget to create a new script text , which is the same as Empire one except rename it from user.Empire_script to user.Napoleon_script and paste mod NTF.pack; into the text and save it. Then copy it to your data folder and you'd all be set

I shall leave the current version up and running despite the problems. The only way around this (until I get NTW) is that someone extracts the ui/flags and sends me the file with all of the flags (unless someone else does the mod). It's like urinating in the wind at the moment!

just rename france--->france_republic in the UI/Flags bit of the NTF.pack in packfilemanager and upload it on here and then it all works fine, plus a script like this in my attachment to put in the data folder.

I have one question.

I changed the pack-file as you sad and now i got it work with the french flag. But do i realy put the user.napoleon_script into the data-folder?? i thought this file should be put into the script-folder...

Just posting to say I have the same black flag problem as everybody else, it's a shame because these flags look brilliant!
