Minor Flag Changes

Minor Changes
Here I will add some minor mod changes that will either change one flag here and there. These changes imo are not enough to warrant a change in the NTF Main version either because of the flags being too early/ too late/fictional etc. The pack files have to be added to the data folder and the scriptfile entry added to the top of the list in your user.scripts for changes to be seen. It must be noted, that where the main NTF moves on in versions, I won't be supporting the minor mods, as it's just a pain.

How to Install a MOD PACK

Install Instructions

INSTALL A MOD.PACK

Firstly one can use the NTW ModManager NTF is in mod format so you will need a 'user.script' text file saved as UNICODE format to activate it. This file is included in the download. 1: Place the user.script in: C:/Users/username/AppData/Roaming/The Creative Assembly/Napoleon/Scripts (you may need to show hidden folders) Move onto Step 4 if this is now the only mod you have, if not, read on... 2: If you already have other mods that need a script file to activate it, then you need to simply add the line from this mod to the list, you should only ever have ONE user.script file. In the user.script file might/will be command line(s), eg: mod Mod_AUM.pack; mod Mod_Ultimatesound.pack; 3: Add the command line: mod Mod_NTF_Main.pack; from NTF user.script to the list. (The way NTW loads is that it goes down this list... Then through the Patch files... Then the Vanilla files... Then loads the game.) So whatever is at the top of the list gets shown over everything that comes after. Therefore if you wanted the NTF_Early or Russian flags to show over the NTF_Main flags, the script file would look like this: mod Mod_NTF_Early.pack; mod Mod_minorflag.pack; mod Mod_NTF_Main.pack; I would recommend always having the flag mod at the top of the list. Then save it in UNICODE format. If you just save the text file, it might default to ANSI, which won't work. 4: Finally: Put the actual flag pack in your steam/steamapps/common/napoleon total war/data directory. 5: Start NTW as normal

I love the French flags. We must have them for use as battle standards!

Also, it's ahistorical and wrong, but I love the post 1812 tricolor with the crown and eagle on it (the left one on your post) and I would love to use it in the stratmap. I've already made a version of it to use for the waving flags on the map, but I have no image editing skills to use it on the little portrait pics and other angled flags.

Has anyone done the Union flag for the UK as it appeared in 1801? Not sure if it is possible for the Brits to have a flag change for Jan 1st 1801? Can an event do that?

thkx =) much better the CA flags!!!! my bad i forgot how 2 install this pack without mod manager ? can anyone help me cause pack not working - no flags in the game and i have no mod manager 2 activate this mod what can i do???
