Question about the next patch, leapfrogging blob?
To the people who still haven't given up on ETW and moved on to NTW, according to Kieran the next "patch" will adress the " 'melee issue', the 'blob' issue and the leapfrogging glitch.".
The melee issue is clear, but what is the 'blob issue'? What is the 'leapfrogging glitch'?

The leapfrogging glitch is when one AI unit gets in the way of another. the other unit then moves in front of the first one to get a clear field of fire. The process repeats until they reach your lines and a melee ensues.
I think the Blob issue is where the AI just bunches up rather than forming a coherent battle line.

Dunno, but I assumed the BAI fix was to fix stuff like the `blob` too.

Yes, the "leapfrog", "blob" and "chicken-dance" are all symptoms or causes of the infamous melee bug. Sounds like a bunch of dances from the 50's
