    Default Moddability...?

I couldn't find a thread about it in the first few pages of this forum, so I assume there isn't one yet...
Maybe it's a bit early to say, but is there any chance that NTW is moddable? More than ETW/M2TW/RTW?

(This is not about if there will be modtools, but rather if we need modtools )

Well, since only some Americans got it (yesterday), and Aussie&Europe not, I don't tihnk many ppl tried to see it. But I guess it's the same pack system like in ETW, because it's the same engine.

In theory, would a bit modified mod manager (for ETW) work with this game?

It should be moddable, but a lot harder to do than ETW, according to Kieran (almost impossible if you read between his lines).
    On release

CA hates mods and has decided to push the "evolution" concept where all ingenuity is done for pay at CA while small modders are stuck with changes like unit size, skins and faction unlocks. An individual games longevity serves only to cut CA's market for new paid games. any additional value, even when created for free by individuals undercuts their efforts to sell products.

Hinkel is creating a civil war mod which might evolve into a single player campaign. Why would CA want to facilitate this when they are going to come out with a stand-alone expansion about the civil war in 6 months? Victorian mod? C'mon - Why facilitate it when they can earn another 40 plus DLC's with minimal effort? Value added mods serves only the hard-core customer under the new plan.
