Tweeking game settings

I've been trying to alter some settings. I've been having problems with kings purse however, usually this can be done in the descr_strat.txt file, but this doesn't seem to work. where can i find the right place to change it?

If you increase the king's purse you won't see the effects until you start a new campaign.

Hmmm...there are two descr_strat.txt files. For me that would be:
First in F:\SEGA\Medieval II Total War\mods\teutonic\data\world\maps\campaign\imperial_campaign
Second in F:\SEGA\Medieval II Total War\mods\teutonic\data\text

Which one did you modify? Because the first one is the one that must be modified.
