With the game out (or nearly out for you Europeans) I think it is fitting to make such a thread for NTW.
This is all done in good humor, of course!
I'll go first (this based on the latest multi-player preview film released, so even though I haven't actually played the game yet, it must be true to it)

    (1) Napoleonic artillery fired tracer-rounds to better assist the gunners in aiming.
    (2) All troops in a Dragoon company could fire even when in six men deep formations (while on horseback no less).
    (3) British Generals wore magical top-hats with a morale inspiring effect.
    (4) Napoleon had actually said "Every French soldier carries a marshal's baton12-foot pike in his knapsack"
    (5) Napoleonic troops in melee did not as much "engage the enemy" as rather "floated towards him while spreading out" in a way not dissimilar to osmosis.

    95 more to go!

Highland infantry were famous for their flute playing in combat
In the garb of old Gaul, with the fire of old Rome,
    From the heath-covered mountains of Scotia we come;
Our loud-sounding pipe breathes the true martial strain,
And our hearts still the old Scottish valour retain.

    6) Drydocks of all nations decided after many years of painting ships bright and inspiring colours to simply leave 'em how they are... a rugged old tree colour >.>
Field Marshal Horatio Herbert Kitchener, 1st Earl Kitchener KG, KP, GCB, OM, GCSI, GCMG, GCIE, ADC, PC (24 June 1850 – 5 June 1916), was an Irish-born British Field Marshal and proconsul who won fame for his imperial campaigns and later played a central role in the early part of the First World War, although he died halfway through it.

    13. 90% casualties in battle were the norm when fighting against Napoleon.

A continent wide ban on paved streets in towns was in effect during the early 19th Century.

Artillerymen of the period actually crapped ball and powder, making for a limitless supply of ammunition.

(Yeah, I know these can apply to ETW too)

As the cutscenes clearly show, Napoleon wore a single uniform from the 1790's thru 1815.

The seasons back then were totally predictable and unchanging as to when they occurred, and how severe they were.

Tales of a very unusually cold winter during Napoleon's retreat from Russia are myths.
