RTW gold edition and vista woes

I have the gold edition. I can play BI with no problem. I cannot play RTW. I have tried to run it by right click-properties-compatibility-run as windows xp- run as administrator and also run as administrator under it left set as vista. i have noticed that it installs RTW as a folder under programs label-Total War-Rome Total War and the BI under programs folder Rome Total War - Barbarian Invasion instead of together I get two folders for some odd reason I would expect both to be in one program folder, but anyway I have done three complete uninstall and reinstall without luck. Any other suggestions?

I'd suggest uninstalling BI and Rome:Total War. Then Installing Rome in a drive and then try to play it. If you STILL can't play it then try to run Eusing Free Registry Cleaner.

If it still not working, then your OS is the problem, because Vista doesn't run most games.
