    Default Best Next move?

    Hi,

I'm playing a campaign with Brutii, and i think i have been doing pretty good. (This is my first campaign, so maybe i'm a total noob xD )

Anyway, early in the game i have taken over Greece and destroyed Macedon and The Greek Cities.
I expanded north, destroyed the Dacians, Thracians, and Scythians. And now have a 28 Settlement empire.

Here is a slideshow where you can see the rankings, diplomacy, the map etc.

After destroying the scythians i decided to invade the armenians.
I took 2 cities, but while moving my army to the third one the egyptians declared war and tried to capture rhodes, but i had big armies there so they failed.
I also tried to attack Parthia ( with one city...) And i failed.
Also, the egyptians sieged a small settlement. (On the map above you can see everything.)

So, what should i do? The egyptians are too mighty xD.

About the whole popularity thing, that's is what happens later in the game when playing as a Roman faction. You are currently in the verge of a Roman civil war. Try on avoiding this and focus on destroying Egypt, even if the senate wants your faction leader to commit suicide.

    Hmm..

I guess i will be invading from Byzantium, Sparta, Rhodes, And Athens, into Turkey?
Or should i try to invade The land Egypt itself? ( And block the Scipii from expanding?)

Hmm I love Brutii so a fellow Brutii player will always have my help.
What you shouldn't have done was to take so many turns to attack other people. Its Total War not Total passiveness so in your next campaign feel free to attack who you want. If you had expanded fast enough the julii wouldn't be so freaking big. Anyways, to give you proper advice that suits your situation you should give me more info like how many good generals do you have? 10 stars I mean, or any thing above five if you don't have anything good.
    What i would suggest is
Destroying Egypt. Remember Egypt has chariots so you need lotsa archers. Attack any small factions nearby like Parthia which as you mentioned has one city. If they have that many troops with only one city supporting them they should not be able to hold out. Once you have done that feel free to start a civil war.
    CIVIL WAR
Once you get that far, send a diplomat to make alliances with gaul and brittinia. Use your barbarian settlements to attack Julii, your Egyptian settlements to attack Scipii and send some armies, not just whatever you can scrape something big with a diplomat. By the time your Egyptian conquest is finished you should have plenty of money. So what I suggest is to bribe all their armies away. Put the money to use! Then use that big army to attack Rome. THE END. Hope it helps.

Take Salamis and use this as a naval base. Build a fleet and blockade the Egyptian ports, starting with Alexandria. This will impoverish the Egyptians. Leave Parthia and Armenia as a buffer and concentrate on Egypt. Send spies into Egypt and find out all that you can. Where are their armies? Where are their production centers? Who are their generals? How loyal are they? How many FMs? Then concentrate the spies in one city until it rebels. Continue this while your blockade is going on. If you occasionally land a general from Salamis near Antioch, you should be able to hire a force of chariot stomping mercenary elephants and then withdraw. Keep tightening the screws. Naval superiority allows your forces to strike one end of Egypt and then the other so that their armies can never concentrate. Draw their forces into Turkey and then hit Alexandria. You’ll probably have to do a lot of enslaving or slaughtering to keep these large settlements in line. Good luck!

    To sum everything up:

1.Make spies, find out couple of things.
    2.Blockade ports
    3.Rebel and take settlement.
    4.Invade
