Default Build a pc for 4500K dudes need help

Goodday Everyone, my name is Isa a total war fan since shogun total war.
I have a budget of 4500 dollars(It took me a long time to save this kind of money as a student heheh) to build a pc. What I want is to make a pc which will be high quality and not budget. It would be even better if it would make the end turns of empire total war under 10 seconds and the loading times as fast as possible too.

Could you help me in selecting the best parts. I already have a monitor mousem windows 7 64 bit ultimate etc. I will be spending the money solely on the pc

Already thanks for the suggestions on the parts and memory size and so on. I want it to be a pc that will play empire and napoleon total war so fast it will make your head spin especially the end turns must be fast

Something to keep in mind, although it is possible to spend $4,500 on a single PC, it would be pointless as once you surpass 60FPS you won't notice the extra performance so you could spend $2,000 on a computer that would max out ETW (any other game as well) and give you the best performance possible, or you could spend $4,500 and gain nothing other than the knowledge that you spent more money.

But wouldn't the pc be kickass for longer? I mean it's all well and good having 60fps now, but in 3 years time, will it still be the case? I'd blow my money on a mad PC and have it last longer if I had that much. But that's only my opinion, of course.

Nah, PC technology gets outdated far too quickly. Best thing to do is buy a PC that plays games out now, and then upgrade later when newer technology becomes available. I assure you, most tech out now will be outdated in 3 years. Look at the 8800GT, uber high end when it came out, now its been surpassed multiple times over. Spend 2000 on a computer now, spend 500 upgrading at the end of the year, then the year after spend the other 2000. Much better way to spend 4500.

    Agreed!

    @ OP:

I spent $2,200 on my rig last year which was the top amount I could spend in reason without buying pointless parts (a few of the items such as the $180 case, 1000 watt $220 PSU, and the $60 heatsink were more than I really needed for this PC but will be parts I can use on a future gaming rig). I can upgrade my video cards (for around $500) within the next year and be set for another 2-3 years before having to think about upgrading platform again, if I want to continue playing new games at high-ultra settings.

I started a thread in the Darthmod forum the ultimate commander version . It is titled :specs to max out this monster mod . Here youll get plenty of configurations of people who are able to play Darthmod with 4-5-600 men per unit on max detail. If you than still have money left i suggest putting it on the bank

I'll second Roman_Man#3's post. Its hard to spend that much on a computer, so any little upgrades in performance will just be wasting that extra cash. Get a great computer now, upgrade when the hardware improves.

I'd recommend buying a computer for 2000-2500 dollars and then save the rest of the money for a new computer or upgrades to your current one.

Can't help you with specs though.

You don't need to spend all that money on one computer. You can get a screaming computer, and at most, spend about $2000. Anything else is just a waste.
