Re: lost guitar from my music !!
Id guess youve done something to the sound channels, maybe the guitar is attempting to be played through a speaker that you haven't actually got. I'd look for a way of setting your audio output it to stereo or something like that.
Have you changed any audio settings, or installed anything that might have changed them for you?
Other than that i'm not too sure.

Re: lost guitar from my music !!
its complicated. i have a headphone and a 5.1 surround sound. but the speakers are plugged into the heaphone jack and the heaphones into the speaker jack because its the only way i can get both of them to work (with the mic as well). but ive never noticed this before. probably would fix the problem if i put them in the back so will try that soon. its only guitar when there is nothing else ive noticed.

Check the equalizer settings. This would be view-show equalizer in itunes.

Re: lost guitar from my music !!
ok they are normal. just tried to play a troublesome song on youtube and that was broke too. but the live version worked, presumably becaus it was all on the same channel. if anyone is interested its the begining of bandolires by them crooked vultures that i first noticed it on. the power chords in the first 6 seconds arent there at all. think i will leave it for now though. if the problem is still there after a new windos install then i will ask again. thanks for the help
