    Behold:

Spoiler Alert, click show to read:
    The Beast and the Blade

For days the troll had harassed the village. It had kidnapped several of the farmers, leaping out of the shrubbery to snatch them as they ploughed the fields in the scorching sun. It was near impossible to spot the green creature in the thick outback, and even if one caught a glimpse of it before it struck it would be too late, for a troll could tear a man’s limbs from his body in a matter of seconds. The farmers stood no chance.

The hero and his horse had had trodden through the dense forest for days in search of the ghastly creature, with no avail. But today would be different. His horse neighed loudly.

Out of the corner of his stern blue eyes, the hero saw it: Sitting on the weedy grass, the beast devoured the remains of one of the peasants. The warrior dismounted slowly from his steed, the heavy steel armour clinking as he carefully crept towards the troll, its back towards him. He drew his cold blade as he neared it, moving as silently as the heavy outfit allowed. The green giant continued to feast on the flesh, the sound of its chewing filling the still air of the sheltered alcove. SNAP! A twig! The three dark eyes turned instantly, meeting the hero’s gaze. It did not look happy to see him.

With a deafening howl it dashed towards him, covering the distance between them in moments. A rough fist struck him. And another. The hero recoiled, unable to compose himself, his vision blurred from the blows. The grizzled monster retreated to a small hillock, beating its chest furiously and letting out another giant war cry. It rushed at him again. He tightened his grip around his sword. This time he was ready.

With a ferocious swing the blade cut through the muscled tissue. The savage brute screamed in pain. It went berserk, charging, its heavy arms swinging wildly. The hero came forward, thrusting his longsword into its chest, the steel exiting the troll’s back in an explosion of crimson blood. A final, dying grunt left the creature’s coarse mouth, before the heavy carcass smashed into the sodden dirt. The beast was slain.

Lol. Good luck to the contestants. May your Quills rend flesh and break bone!
"Muscovy", as its rulers have previously called it, is a sleeping giant, with age-old traditions and ways of doing things. Here, the feudal way of life has become so entrenched that the serfs are as tied to the land as cattle, and with almost as few rights. It is a vast, deeply conservative and religious country: Mother Russia and the Orthodox Church are the two pillars of national belief. The Tsar may be the father of his people, but by tradition and practice he is a stern parent. Ivan the Terrible was well named, and he has not been the only ruler with an iron will. Russia is the "Third Rome". The last bastion of Orthodox Christianity.

Thank you Saint Nicholas, and Mega I shall pass on your offer of Mr.Jailbait there. Now where is this amateur Forlorn so that I may strike him down and get back to my sake? It won't drink itself you see.

I thought I'd throw down a little rhyme while we wait. This is supposed to be in the style of Muhammad Ali's rhymes and is all in good fun, I'm not being arrogant or anything. Here it is:

    Forlorn is pumped and ready,

    Katsumoto is calm and steady.

The fight begins and the crowd cheers,

Forlorn swings as if he’s had too many beers.

    Katsumoto dances round his foe,

Forlorn don’t know where to go.

    Katsumoto throws a punch,

It lands on For’ with a crunch.

Another hook and a big hello,

    Forlorn’s face has gone yell-oh.

The duel is over with a bang,

    The bell has already rang.

Forlorn’s hopes of triumph are gone,

Don’t matter though ‘cause Kats has won.

Forlorn continues to delay the inevitable,
Is his piece really so terrible?

    It's a shame he's taking so long,

I even had time to make this song.

It's called Tale of the Week for a reason,

Forlorn is taking a whole season.

I was bored so I made this rhyme,

I'll check again next life time.

I really couldn't think of a story for this but for some reason this popped into my head while looking at the picture the way hes holding his sword and mounted inspired it. I guess you could call it a marching song. Think of it being shouted while a huge drum beats.

Spoiler Alert, click show to read:
Grasp the swordbelt, hold it fore
To the wall, it’s time for war!
Mount your horse, ride at full bore.
Yell your cry! KILL THEM ALL!
Crush them all, make them bleed.
Forward! Drop them to their knees!
Urge your steed, take the lead.
Honor and glory, plant the seed.
Force their hand, none shall stand!
    Forward lads!
    Forward lads!
    Slaughter and pillage.
    Slaughter and pillage.
Grasp the spear, wield it well
    Follow the banner, into hell
Forward, forward, out of your shell!
Fly the flags and standards as well.
Leave the dead, keep your head.
Lest you join them, bathed in red.
    Horses crash and soldiers scream.
See them rushing with a head of steam
Trumpets blow and the enemy lay low,
Go, go, go, strike the blow!
Level the gun, draw the sword, give the enemy a final word
Bomb them all, break their sprit
Cut them all, spread the gibbets!
Paint the field red with hate!
Bite the shield rim, don’t hesitate.
For the king, for the emperor!
For your betters! For your lord!
Don’t ask why, just draw your sword
Feel the heat in your head
See the red and make them dead
    Forward lads!
    Forward lads!
    Make them dead!
