proper manual?

to the guys who already have the game:
is there a proper manual (like IN MTW2, RTW).
or more the "go and find for yourself" stuff like in ETW?

Some guy who has the game said the manual had about ten more pages than ETW.

With pictures. Or credits.

Remember the old days...when they actually stocked PC titles in the stores....and you could gauge the game simply by picking up the box and seeing how heavy it was? A heavy box meant a THICK, informative manual, reflective of a game that is complete enough at launch to purchase.

Most games just have a tutorial now and don't even bother with manuals. i would like both. good bathroom reading!

Those big manuals were great. Those days are long behind us.

I love my Civ4 manual, or should I say book! Hundreds of pages, and packed with information!
