    Default [Help] Laptop heating

I searched around on the forum, but couldn't find anything.

For some reason, my laptop has been heating up more than usual and it's causing my computer to shut down. I think it's just because my laptop is old (two years)

Anyone got any idea on how to solve this problem?

    Cheers.

Get some compressed air and spray all the vents so they are free from dust.

There are now stand commercially available to allow air circulation under the lappie. One of these products might be useful to improve air circulation as well as freddie's suggestion to blow out the vents.

Also -- if your battery is old, it might be time to consider a replacement if it seems to be running a bit hotter than before.
