Adding Clermont Region in France

I love DLV, play it for hours more than I should, and deeply appreciate all that the team has created. There's always a BUT haha

Central France seems deserted, huge expanse of nothing between Angers-Marseilles and Dijon-Toulouse. No criticism, here, as France has plenty of settlements to conquer. But I would like to add Clermont (Auvergne province) into the game, at 190,205, roughly where the two rivers form a right-angle, north of the Toulouse-Marseilles road.

Now, I have Geomod and have sorted out how to get DLV stuff into it. But I don't see how to edit an existing province.
-I know the 198 province has been reached (has it, or am I am being ignorant here?)
-I want to replace Oklahoma (Kiowa Tribes region) with Clermont, then split that vacant part of the Americas to Powhatan Tribes, and the other two NA regions.
-I also know I'll have to change most of the files, province names, resources, starting troops, condtions, etc.

So, is it possible to edit Oklahoma into Clermont, or do I have to delete Oklahoma and redraw the other 3, THEN add Clermont?

Or will problems with the scripts and other files prevent me from doing any such thing?

NOTE: I have tried just adding forts in the past, and have failed at that editing time and again. Not that a fort would replicate a settlement, but just a comment on my modding abilities haha.

Editing/replacing a whole region is no minuscle task. I cannot give you detailed instructions there, as for one thing I would have to look it up myself, and secondly the info you seek is already written by someone else.

There's a tutorial in the workshop how to add a new region, could you please start there.

Fair enough. I read through Izob's Nakharar's and even the original Geomod post by sinople, but they don't deal specifically with DLV. I was looking to see if anyone had tried it and could offer pointers, or if they were more familiar with Geomod than I am. So two simple questions:

-Is DLV at the 198 province limit?
-Has anyone tried this?

In that thought, should I contact Harry Lime, concerning how he modified his map for DLV Europa?

Afaik the region limit is reached.

Harry definitly has a lot experience with that, he basically remade the whole DLV map for Europa. Maybe if you ask him nicely he can give you some advice.
