So it is pretty concrete that the Digital copy will be arriving about a day or 2 before the retail version,therefore I wonder should it make a difference if I were to jump the gun and purchase the Imperial edition on steam but then still get the Retail version???would it hinder the ability to activate the retail only Heroes of the Napoleonic wars???(I could be mistaken here and it might be the Elite units,but you get the idea)

u mean u want to buy the game 2 times ?
yeah that would work.
first u can dl it via steam and u have those royal scots, and then u have to type in the code for the 15 units of ur retail version. -

Wait a few months and buy the DLC then, as was the case for Special Forces.

Were it anything other than the Napoleonic Wars I would certainly wait,but being quiete the Bonaparte completist I would feel a nagging the whole while that something was missing..it is a collectors curse I suppose..
