From what i heard the limited edition is sold in North America and Imperial in rest of the world. But i think they are the same thing with different name. I Pre-ordered the Imperial edition it sounds better by the way.

Limited Edition is Standard edition with the 15 extra units that's only available in North America. Imperial Edition is like limited Edition but with extras like a poster and book about Napoleons life(i think) and is available in Europe

Imperial - Europe (15 units added, biography of napoleon, premium packaging)
Limited - North America (15 units added)
Emperors - Australia (15 units added, statue of napoleon, field journal, biography of napoleon, premium packaging)
    Standard - World Wide.

I for the life of me haven't figured out this marketing plan. It confused the devil out of me for long enough that I didn't order until I figured it out.

Geeze, I didn't know the Australians were so obsessed with Napoleon to the point where they get the best goodies

The individual unique units go with the store front you are buying the game from. Limited Edition is the Imperial without the pretty packaging and extras, but I sincerely wonder why Imperial is offered in Europe whereas Emperor's is in Austrailia and so forth.

    Totally agree with you
On steam you won't get as much units as in a retail copy and retail is cheaper in many stores, curse the greedy steam. Selling a digital version for more expensive price than the retail edition...

And i luckily as european pre ordered the Imperial Edition with some extra toys witch is not included on steam

Valve/Steam doesn't set the prices for non-Valve games, the publishers do.

Mmm I'm going to buy the European imperial edition. I take it the extra preorder units will be DLC in a while.
