Where has my 'saves' file gone?

It seems when Rome/XGM is installed under c:\program files\..., the saved game folder is hidden. Can i Fix this? I need to back Up a few saves before a huge re-install. Thanks in Advance

You must have Vista. I don't but there is a way to find your saves. Unfortunately, I don't remember, but I know someone will come along to help you out.

Haha Vista is good at hiding your savegames. Although my RTW never have been randomly stationed, newer games have that tendency.

Those games mostly place them at your personal map. Which is the map which is named after your computer name.
Computer > C station (or whichever platform you've installed windows) > Users > *your computer name*.

Once in that location you should check out all your folders. Most of my savegames were put into my documents folder, but this doesn't have to be your case.

This is where some files from other games have ended up before. when I originally installed ROME in my D:\ drive, the saves folder was visible. I backed up some Saves before re-installing it(months ago) and never found the folder to put them in. Shame really, thats why i think it has something to do with program files.

If you don't find saves try in this location for e.g.(I have Gold Edition)
C:\Users\user-name\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\Program Files\The Creative Assembly
