Default Removing hats + questions about campaign map models / portraits

    1. Is it possible to remove a model's hat, or is that a concrete part of the model? Many models would work better in my mod without tricorne hats. What exactly are the limits to editing a model such as that?

    2. Can campaign map models (strat models?) be used as unit models, vica versa? Or do they work too differently game mechanic-vise? In any case, how do I replace a strat model with another strat model?

    3. Is it possible to make "set" character portraits? I found that the monarch of a nation used a specific tga, I edited it and it worked. But when you right click the portrait and get a new window, the portrait is different.

No, otherwise like in NTW the hats are included in the model and so you have to remove them in a 3d programm lik max3ds using the model converter, for the moment there's no other chance to solve this problem

Same Problem for that question, you could use the Skin but not the modell, because it is much smaller than those that are used in battle, if u could find any fitting model you could put the skin of the model in the campaign on the on in battle, there should be no problem with that

in fact it is possible to change those, you might find a folder in the ui.pack but there also have to be changes in the localisation folder etc, have a look in the scripting area of this forum, i am sure that someone wrote something on that issue

Hope i helped you on that, have a nice one!
