is their a way to remove the little help tab thing in the upper left corner of the screen in empire? i ask because i see videos where that box thin is not their and was wondering how you turn it off or disable it. also dose any 1 have any recommendations for a program that allows you to record video of gamyplay as well as sound, i have fraps but that only gives u 30 seconds of video and was wondering if their was anything that would allow for more recording time.

I'm not in front of my gaming computer now but try "user interface" under game options and see if you can turn off advice. If you purchase fraps for $30. U.S. it will record as long as you want and break up the clips into 3 or so minutes per. I'm trying to get the radar, pause/rewind/fast forward, etc., and rollover unit statistics to go away on my battle replays but haven't been able to achieve this...there has to be a way.

You probably watched videos that used replays, there is no advisor area in those.

I think rollover unit stats cannot be removed...
Radar and speed control are on F5/F6/F7 or something.

If you look at the video in my signature, I just used some black borders with video editing software to hide it all, however I still used the options to minimise the user interface as much as possible.

For not even the interface or other elements that "infect" the screen, I crop the image using my video editing software.

And for capturing video, you can use the software XFIRE which is free and which you can capture screen indefinitely.
