    Hey guys and gals!

I'm writing this book report, and that's no problem at all. Except for this one thing. We need to find a poem or a painting that is somehow related to the story or the idea behind the book. This is where the problem lies.

The book is about a fat Jewish young male who has just finished highschool. He's from a rich family, has a girlfriend since 16 and all his friends are starting their studies. But even though he appears to have all the luck he needs, something keeps him from starting his higher studies. He gets depressed, doesn't know what to do with his life, and then makes an odd decision : he will from now on completely ignore his girlfriend and focus his sexual activities on big African women. I'm not joking, that's the book; and yes, I hated the book. He searches for black women who have had as few as possible contact with white people, and tries to engage in sexual intercourse with them. He's also seeing a shrink.

Anyone ANY idea on a related poem or painting?
Thanks in advance. By the way, the book report is due tomorrow, I just found out

Alleen maar nette mensen. English : Only tidy people, with which they mean people of high social class. He's from a rich family, and his family looks down upon poor black people.

Lol, I also have a book report to write by tomorrow.. Good luck with yours mate Here's a thought.. How about writing about a Rubens' painting in which he idolises corpulent women ? I mean he had a lot of those.

The Fairy Feller's Master-Stroke by Richard Dadd.

This painting was the inspiration behind the song of the same name by a little band from England called Queen (). Not quite a poem but it's the first thing that came to me head.
